More Than a Standard Private Appointment

Many private vein clinics charge separately for the duplex ultrasound scan, or have it performed by a vascular technician on a different day. At Sheffield Vein Clinic, the scan is performed by Prof Goode himself, within your consultation. This is both a clinical and practical advantage — and it is included in the £195 fee.

Prof Goode conducts every consultation personally. You see the consultant — not a nurse practitioner or GP with a special interest — from the first appointment.

Duplex Ultrasound Included

A full duplex ultrasound scan, performed by Prof Goode, is included in your £195 consultation fee. No separate booking, no separate charge, no waiting.

Does the consultation price include the duplex ultrasound scan?

Yes. The £195 initial consultation fee includes a full clinical assessment and duplex ultrasound scan of your veins, performed personally by Prof Steve Goode. There is no separate charge for the scan.

Will I know the treatment cost before I commit?

Yes. Following your scan and assessment, Prof Goode will confirm the exact treatment cost before you agree to proceed. There are no hidden charges and no obligation to proceed with treatment at the same appointment.
